Light on your life

From a young age, I was exposed to Vedic astrology through my family’s traditions. However, my true passion for Vedic Astrology blossomed later in life, culminating in formal studies and a commitment to helping others through this ancient practice.

I was raised in afamily, where traditional religious festivals were a cherished part of our lives. My parents had our natal horoscopes made and often consulted astrologers for scheduling ceremonies and understanding our future. Little did I know, my early exposure to astrology would pave the way for a profound personal transformation.

Growing up, like many Indians of my generation, I identified with Western Astrology and knew little about Vedic Astrology. My only connection was knowing my nakshatra moon sign, Jyestha, which was used for religious purposes.

My interest in Vedic Astrology was sparked in the mid-2000s during a challenging period that led me to explore various spiritual philosophies, learn Reiki, and attend meditative retreats and seminars. I began delving deeper into myself and my life’s purpose.

I bought my first book on Vedic Astrology “Beneath a Vedic Sky” by William Levacy that introduced me to the fundamentals of Vedic Astrology, and my curiosity only grew from there.

In June 2013, my wife and I were blessed with a daughter, Navya. Two weeks after her birth, we learned that she has Down Syndrome. This news left us bewildered, and we turned to our temple priest, a Vedic Astrologer, for guidance.

Our priest immediately predicted developmental delays in our daughter based on her chart, despite not knowing what Down Syndrome was? This accurate prediction fascinated me and deepened my interest in Vedic Astrology. This event was a turning point, reinforcing my belief in the power of astrology to provide insights into our lives.

It wasn’t until the COVID-19 pandemic that an astrologer suggested I had the potential to become a notable astrologer. Though I initially dismissed the idea, my curiosity and passion for Vedic Astrology continued to grow.

By 2021, I enrolled in the University of Vedic Astrology founded by Joni Patry, embarking on a structured program that culminated in my graduation in September 2023. I’ve immersed myself in learning and sharing insights with fellow astrologers worldwide. I continue to study, read whatever books that get hold of, take courses from renowned astrologers and I have a mentor Marc Boney who I meet with every month.

I participate in Vedic Astrology groups to contribute as well as learn from my peers. I am always comfortable telling my clients if I am unaware of the question they may have  and let them that will consult with peer group to get the right answer whenever possible.

My passion for Vedic Astrology has grown into a desire to serve others, offering hope and acceptance during challenging times. By understanding the influence of karma and free will, I strive to empower my clients to make informed choices and navigate their life’s journey with confidence.
